Red Barn Ranch
The Red Barn Ranch is the location for our Women Becoming Happy Retreat events.
The Ranch is located at the base of the beautiful Mission Mountains at the north end of Watson Road in St. Ignatius, Mt. Red Barn Ranch is under new management by Hazelrun Morgans.
In addition to hosting our Retreats, nationally known instructor and trainer Carrie Hazel accompanied by Ray Hunt / Tom Dorrance influenced trainer Alex Grove will be providing horse training services starting with basic ground work through finished horses for Western and English horsemanship disciplines as well as ranch work. They will also be providing a full spectrum of riding instruction for children and adults. Youth instruction starts at age 8.
The Red Barn Ranch, in conjunction with local Bed and Breakfasts are also offering HORSEBACK RIDING VACATIONS!
We have had many women tell us that their husbands have been trying to get them to come to Montana with them when they come out to go hunting or fishing because it so beautiful. However, they were concerned about being out here without much to do if they weren't into the hunting and fishing scene. Well, no worries there. We have 30 Beautiful Morgan Horses standing here on the Ranch that you can come and enjoy while you are on vacation. You are also welcome to bring your own horse. We have beautiful boarding facilities to accomodate them.
We feature and Indoor and Outdoor arena, lots of rural roads to ride on as well as a vast area of trails and nature spots that can be visited. We have jumps, barrels, poles and a cross country course.
We offer the arenas for your independent riding pleasure, or if you have interest in improving your riding skills, instruction in many disciplines is available.
Carrie offers instruction in English and Western disciplines to include Dressage, Jumping, Reining, Western Pleasure and Trail to name a few. Alex also ads his Ranch Work expertise in his individual instruction for Roping and Problem Solving for your horse.
